Dursley Wings and Wheels Society’s next talk, by Mike Smith, will focus on The Railways of Sharpness.

This pictorial show will look at the History of Sharpness Railways from the Industrial Docks to the once busy Mainline including the Severn Railway Bridge. Mike will also look at the steam locomotives that were cut up at Coopers Scrapyard Sharpness in the 1960s.

The talk takes place at Dursley Community Centre, GL11 4BX, at 8pm on Thursday, January 8th, £5 entry.
