Following a meeting with agencies today, it has been agreed that the movement of large abnormal loads planned for tomorrow (Friday 27 March) and the following week are to be postponed.

A large electrical transformer and various ancillary components, with weights exceeding 600 tonnes, are now due to travel from Sharpness Docks to Brockworth overnight from Tuesday 7 April.

Smaller loads will still be escorted by police this weekend, on both Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 March, but these loads will be moving more quickly.
