Trinity Rooms Community Hub will be open as a warm, welcoming friendly space from 9-5.30 on Christmas day.
“Anyone is welcome from all faiths and none, all ages, and from anywhere. A full Christmas meal will be provided, and everyone is welcome to ‘muck in’ and add to the spirit of Community and well-being. The Trinity Rooms is in Field Road Stroud opposite the Maternity Hospital,” said Sarah Frazer.
“We will be collecting surplus food from the Stroud Farmer Market on Christmas eve, and along with some generous donations will be cooking up a festive feast. A team of community minded people are decorating the hall, making crackers, festive treats, collecting small gifts all to ensure that we all can have some warm seasonal cheer. Anyone can join us, for those with email contact us at: trinityxmas22@gmail.com or anyone can sign up at one of the local community Hubs in Stroud www.stroudtown.gov.uk/stroud-food-hubs.html
“Year round Trinity Rooms is a Food-Hub, Community-Hub and Eco-Hub. We use a lot of surplus food and endeavour to get it to the tables of people who might otherwise not afford good quality, nutritious, locally sourced food. We work in collaboration with the Network of Stroud Hubs (NoSH) to innovate ways of making our communities strong, resilient and supportive in spite of the challenging prevailing circumstances we find ourselves in. We might have a financial economic crisis, but we can all find abundance in the kindness economy.”
