Forest Green boss Troy Deeney is reportedly set to draft in former England duo Jermain Defoe and John Terry, according to the Telegraph.
With Rovers looking destined for the drop, Deeney is said to be planning to bring in Terry for a defending demonstration and Defoe for a shooting session.
Ex-Chelsea captain Terry was previously assistant to Dean Smith at both Aston Villas and Leicester City, while Defoe is under-18s coach in the academy of former club Spurs.
Deeney is also believed to have contacted Burnley boss Vincent Kompany and Robert Huth, who’s now loans manager for his old side Leicester.
Forest Green, who are bottom of League Two, seven points adrift of safety, travel to Mansfield tonight, Tuesday.
