Tweedy named in New Year Honours


Tweedy the clown, famous for his work with Gifford’s Circus, has been awarded the British Empire Medal in the King’s New Year Honours.

Born Alan Digweed, Tweedy had ambitions to be a clown from an early age. He spoke to Stroud Times editor Ash Loveridge last year – watch our video below.
