Stroud District Council has received a planning application for the former car dealership on London Road.
The former Bristol Street Motors car dealership closed its branch last June.
Formerly known as Valley Garage and then Coulters, the site has been a motor dealership for more than 60 years and operated petrol pumps until 2015.
The application for housing is currently under review.
The Consultations and Highways Committee of Stroud Town Council will be evaluating this application at their upcoming meeting on Monday, May 20th, 7.30pm at the council office, London Road.
A spokesperson for the Town Council said: “Public feedback is highly valued and will play a crucial role in shaping the committee’s response to the planning authority.”
