A 40-year-old woman has been charged with robbery in connection with the theft of a mobility scooter in a Tesco car park in Stroud last Sunday.
Kimberley Ann Hawkins, of no fixed address, was charged after the robbery left a man in his 60s without his scooter.
Hawkins is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court later today, Thursday.
Police had been called to the scene shortly before 6am on the Sunday (January 22), where the man was found to be unresponsive in the car park on Stratford Road. He died later that day in Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
