‘Urgent’ upgrade required for sauna and steam room facility at Stroud leisure complex

An urgent upgrade to the sauna and steam room at Stratford Park Leisure Centre is set to take place this month.

In an email sent to members, a spokesperson for Active Lifestyles Stroud management team said: “We wanted to make you aware at the earliest opportunity that their will be some disruption to our changing facilities, sauna and steam room during June whilst we complete urgent upgrade to these areas. Please keep an eye out for signage in these areas and we apologise in advance for this disruption.”

Stroud District Council took over managing the centre last November – promising £2.7 million of funding over the next five years.
