Five Valleys Shopping Centre in Stroud has welcomed two new faces to its management team at an exciting time for the town centre destination.
Mick Grundy has been appointed as Centre Manager, with Mollie Phillips joining as Assistant Centre Manager.
Together they bring a wealth of experience and energy as Five Valleys embarks on its next chapter, with a new extension underway, further expansion of the popular market area, and more new businesses set to join the line-up of independent and national retailers.
Mick has moved to Stroud from Lincolnshire to take up the role, bringing with him extensive leadership experience. His career includes two decades of service in the British Army, as well as senior roles with the Royal British Legion and English Heritage.
“Stroud has such a strong sense of community and Five Valleys is right at the heart of it,” said Mick. “I’m really looking forward to working with local people, businesses, and partners to take Five Valleys to the next level and build on the fantastic work already achieved here.”
Mollie studied at the University of Sunderland and has worked in hospitality across the region, alongside managing social media and communications. A passionate foodie, she is especially excited to work closely with the food hall traders as well as the wide variety of stores within Five Valleys.
“This is a really exciting time to be joining Five Valleys,” said Mollie. “I’m looking forward to taking on this challenging and busy role, supporting our brilliant and inspiring traders, and being part of the continued growth of such a vibrant shopping and leisure destination.”
Five Valleys is owned and managed by Yorkshire-based regeneration specialists Dransfield Properties, who have invested more than £30 million in the centre in recent years.
