Generous punters donated the money at Los Fastidios’s concert at the Prince Albert last week, supported by Jonny Fluffypunk and Chinese Burn, writes Tim Lezard.
“While the world’s media may have moved on from the Middle East to cover Ukraine and Donald Trump, we haven’t forgotten Palestine,” said gig organisers Doina Cornell, Robin Layfield and Neil McLaughlin.
“Too many innocent civilians have been slaughtered in Gaza and Lebanon.
“After consulting with the band, we chose MAP for the fundraiser because the charity provides immediate medical aid to those in great need, while developing local capacity and skills to ensure the long-term development of the Palestinian healthcare system.”
Verona-based ska punks Los Fastidios have today confirmed they will return to the Prince Albert on October 27, 2025.
