A runner stumbled across gruesome animal remains in Slad this morning, Sunday.
Hannah Synan was out for an early morning run with her dog Bramble when she discovered the dead, but fresh animal carcass situated at the bottom of Swifts Hill alongside the first field of the Laurie Lee walk.
Hannah said: “I felt increasingly confused by what could have done that because it was so stripped bare.”
Paul Synan, Hannah’s husband, returned to the site of the find to shoot the video below. Paul believes the carcass is that of a badger.
