The annual solstice spiral will take place at St Laurence Church, Stroud on Wednesday, December 21, 1 pm-4 pm (children) and 4 pm-9.30 pm (adults).
An early morning session continues on Thursday 22 December 8 am-930 am.
A spiral labyrinth of winter greenery will be laid out on the ground, made from evergreen boughs.
Everyone is invited to walk the labyrinth, and to light their own candle from the central flame.
The atmosphere is quiet and contemplative, with gentle live music provided by community musicians. Donations of £5 per adult are encouraged and funds will be shared with the Marah Trust. No need to book, everyone welcome.
