Following its triumphant sold outness back in February 2022 the annual Good On Paper Party returns once again for its seventh outing on Saturday 4th February 2023 at the Sub Rooms. First launched in 2016 the GOP Party acts as a fundraiser for the magazine (long live the printed word) whilst bringing forth a hoard of artists, musicians, DJ’s and more to celebrate the vibrant, creative scene which Stroud is increasingly becoming renowned for. As well as championing all things local the magazine also invites performers from further afield to join the line-up resulting in an eclectic mix of live music, art and spoken word…

The Smyths, the world’s premier tribute to The Smiths, are back! Strangeways, Here We Come is the album The Smiths never got to play live, having being released after the band had split. Using the 35th anniversary of the album’s release, The Smyths perform the album in full for the first time ever, anywhere! As usual, as well as featuring the tracks on the album, this gig will consist of a second set of hits and b-sides from Manchester’s finest.

A number of twists in the tale, right up to the final scene, keep this thriller thrilling.
