The numbers speak for themselves. Twice Grammy-nominated, Beth Nielsen Chapman has released thirteen solo albums, written seven #1 hits, and written songs recorded by some of the biggest names in music, including Bonnie Raitt, Willie Nelson, Elton John, Neil Diamond, Keb Mo’ and Roberta Flack.
11 Nov, 8pm – Police Dog Hogan – £17.50
‘Brilliant’ songwriting, ‘sensational’ harmonies, ‘fantastic’ musicianship, ‘joyous’ live performances – just a fraction of the accolades gathered by Police Dog Hogan at their ‘now-legendary’ live gigs. The seven-piece outfit has been attracting similar reviews for more than ten years now.
12 Nov, 8pm – Toyah Anthem Tour – £25
Following her 2021 Top 25 charting album “Posh Pop” and over 80 million worldwide YouTube views for her weekly Sunday Lunch videos with Robert Fripp, national music legend and true icon Toyah is back on tour. This special tour celebrates 40 years of the iconic, acclaimed and Gold-certified selling album Anthem.
13 Nov, 7.30pm – Barbara Dickson – £28
In this special acoustic performance Barbara Dickson and her pianist Nick Holland explore her catalogue of songs at an intimate level. The pair let the words and melodies take ‘centre stage’ as they perform a wonderful range of material drawing on Barbara’s folk roots, contemporary greats, and some of her classic hits.
16 Nov, 8pm – Clearwater Creedence Revival – £26.50
Creedence Clearwater Revival are one of the most iconic rock groups of all time. Their all-time classic hits such as Proud Mary, Bad Moon Rising, Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Born on the Bayou, Fortunate Son, Down on the Corner, Up Around the Bend along with CCR and John Fogerty fan favourites are powerfully reprised by Clearwater Creedence Revival.

SubVerse presents a double bill of poetry from Ann Drysdale and Angela France, exploring the world through Ann’s witty, incisive observational poetry and Angela’s powerful ecologically minded verse.

24 Nov, 7:30pm – The Manfreds – £25
The Manfreds will be returning to Stroud Subscription Rooms on Thursday 24th November for a much-awaited performance. They are considered one of the finest and most respected bands from the 60s era and their numerous hits were not just ‘pop’ songs. Many were R&B based with an undercurrent of jazz – a very unusual but winning combination of playing style and substance.
25 Nov, 19.30pm – Oysterband + Support – £25 – £27
British folk-rock legends Oysterband celebrate the recent release of their brand-new album – the UK Official Folk Album Chart No.1 smash ‘Read The Sky’ – by playing a string of UK tour dates in 2022.
27 Nov, 3pm – Brighouse & Rastrick Band – £11.50 – £20.50
The Brighouse & Rastrick Band is regarded by many as the best and most consistent ‘public subscription band’ in the world. They are the current Champion Band of Yorkshire and in its time the majority of premier band championships have been held by ‘Briggus’, most recently becoming National Champion Band of Great Britain in 2017, whilst the band has also attracted a formidable reputation for highly entertaining concerts for both the general public and brass band connoisseur.
30 Nov, 8pm – Nine Below Zero – £26.50 – £28.50
UK-based Rhythm ‘n’ Blues Group Nine Below Zero celebrate their acclaimed third LP’s 40th anniversary. After the critical and public acclaim of the classic debut LP Live at the Marquee (1980), the band kept the momentum going with Don’t Point Your Finger (1981) before releasing their third and final LP on A&M Records, Third Degree (1982).
