Sept 3rd, 9pm – Mungo’s Hi Fi – £26.50

Mungo’s Hi Fi.

They love sound system culture to the core – from its Jamaican roots to raves, clubs and festivals. When performing as DJs, playing their heavyweight sound system, producing music, collaborating with vocalists and releasing artists on their label, they create a uniquely uplifting experience.

Sept 8th, 8pm – Black Uhuru – EVENT CANCELLED

Sept 9th, 7:30pm Lindisfarne – £29.50

Legendary 70s folk-rock pioneers LINDISFARNE return to form with a classic five-piece line up of long-time members fronted by original founder-member Rod Clements on vocals, mandolin, fiddle and slide guitar.

Sept 16th, 8pm – Hells Bells AC/DC Tribute – £17.50

Hells Bells are one of Britain’s leading AC/DC tribute bands, playing sell-out shows all over the UK and Europe. Known for their high-energy performances and relentless touring, Hells Bells are an act not to be missed by fans of the original Australian rockers.

British DJ, producer, entrepreneur and founding member of the classic soul group Soul II Soul, Jazzie B grew up around 60s and 70s sound system culture and began his musical apprenticeship on the London Jazz circuit. He’s still at the forefront of the British R&B scene to this day.

Sept 18th, 3pm – Tredegar Brass Band – £8

Tredegar is one of most famous and successful brass bands in the world – both on and off the contesting stage.

Sept 19th, 8pm – The John Martyn Project – £19.50

The John Martyn Project is a special project comprised of Blythe Pepino, Kit Hawes, Pete Josef, Sam Brookes, John Blakeley and Jon Short, six artists coming together to celebrate the music of John Martyn. Each brings their own story and connection to John’s music which adds to the fabric of the overall experience of the project.

Sept 20th, 8pm – Nightclubbing & Sid: The Final Curtain – £9

A double bill of a feature film (80 minutes): Nightclubbing: The Birth of Punk Rock in NYC And a special bonus short film (20 minutes): Sid: The Final Curtain containing rare live footage of Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious’ last show! Two great Punk Rock films in one night.

Sept 22-25, various times available – Moonbathing 

A 360° immersive sound world, featuring new spatial mixes with Jarvis Cocker, Gruff Rhys, Anna Meredith, Oliver Coates, Rival Consoles, Mesadorm and many more presented with d&b Audiotechnik Soundscape.

Sept 22nd, 8pm – Loudon Wainwright III In Concert – £41.50

For the past 52 years, Loudon Wainwright III has carved out a distinguished career as one of our most original singer-songwriters, a six-string diarist with material that is by turns, tongue-in-cheek, tender, sarcastic, heart-wrenching and always deeply personal.

Sept 23rd, 7:30pm – Simon & Garfunkel Through the Years – £20.50

The show is a celebration of the unprecedented rise to fame of two boys from Queens, New York, who went on to become the most successful folk-rock duo of the 1960s, selling 38 million albums in the US alone, and receiving 10 Grammy Awards.

Sept 24th, 8pm – Broken Jaw – £11.50 – £13.50

Broken Jaw originating from Gloucestershire, a mixture of punk attitude and energy with heavy metal, mosh-inducing riffs.

Sept 27th, 8pm – Honeyland (12) – £8

Stroud Film Society presents: Honeyland.

Sept 30th, 8pm – Space – £19.50

CM Space Bombed Out colour | What's on at the Sub Rooms in September

With more than 16 months out of live touring Space have used the time to write and record a new studio album. Space embark on the UK  50 date “Music for Pleasure Music for Pain Tour” in July 2021 followed by the album of the same name in late 2021.
