A Stroud juice bar owner was in for a surprise when mindfulness celebrity Wim Hoff dived in and served health drinks at her festival bar.
Better known as “Iceman” for his ability to withstand seemingly impossible levels of cold, Dutchman Hof was spotted at Russell Brand’s Community Festival in Hay-on-Wye and quickly made his way to Trish Tucker May’s juice bar.
Trish was delighted when Hof serenaded staff at the start of the shift, offered to make smoothies and took over serving on her mobile juice bar, Passion 4 Juice.
Trish explained: “He sat on my trailer and sang a song, enjoyed a juice and a flat white – which he loved. Then I said we really need to get a photo. He responded that he would be sad if I didn’t. He said, even better. Let me run your shop and you can take a break. It was a good photo opportunity. He was great and he really loved it. Such a cool guy – the “Iceman” by name and totally cool in nature.”
Australian-born Trish has been running Passion 4 Juice for 20 years and is also a nutrition and gut specialist.
