Winstones Ice Cream parlour is already gearing up for Christmas.

Sales director Tom Vear, a fourth-generation Winstones family member, said: “We’re in our fourth year of running the scheme and are already taking orders for Christmas 2021.”

More than 1,000 trees had been adopted during the last festive period at the world-renowned ice cream parlour which has operated on Minchinhampton Common since 1925.

Tom added: “Our main aim is to tackle the eight million cut Christmas trees that are consumed in the UK every year. Customers can give a tree a name and make it a family member and then return it without having to dispose of it.”
