Woman arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to bank’s door


A woman has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to the door window of Barclays Bank in Stroud.

A woman was spotted with a hammer and chisel outside the bank this morning.

Police spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of damage being caused to a property on King Street, Stroud shortly after 6am today (Tuesday 30 March).

“A woman from Stroud was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and is currently in police custody.”
