Reputedly ‘the most haunted building in England’, the Ancient Ram Inn is holding an open day on Saturday, September 17th.
The Ram has featured in numerous television shows, including Most Haunted and Ghost Adventures, and attracts visitors from around the world.
Owner Caroline Humphries is holding open days on September 17th, October 29th and December 3rd at the former pub in Wotton-under-Edge.
Owner Caroline Humphries said: “Come and see the winding oak staircases with drooping beams dating back to 1465. The Ram has flagstone floors, inglenook fireplaces and creaky old floorboards that will be sure to heighten or frighten the senses.”
The event runs from 11am to 4pm. Disabled access is very limited due to the age of the building, and visitors are advised to wear suitable footwear and supervise children on uneven surfaces. Tickets cost £6 for adults and free admission for children 16 and under, well-behaved dogs welcome.
