Formed in 2018, the Cainscross RFC mini and junior section has grown from30 children to more than 130.
In September, before the start of the new 2021/22 season, they held their ‘postponed’ end-of-season celebration.
The minis and juniors are just one of the sections at Cainscross RFC a club that was founded 127 years ago and are still in their original home of Victory park Cainscross.
Training takes place from 10 am on a Sunday and is for ages 3 upwards.
The club are looking to add to the U11s (Yr6) squad and encouraging more girls to take on the sport in the girls’ section for Yr7 -Yr9.
The club also has a mixed ability section that train on a Monday from 6-7.30pm and a senior side that train Tuesdays from 7-8 pm and matches most Saturdays.
