Formed in 2018, the Cainscross RFC mini and junior section has grown from30 children to more than 130.

In September, before the start of the new 2021/22 season, they held their ‘postponed’ end-of-season celebration.

The minis and juniors are just one of the sections at Cainscross RFC a club that was founded 127 years ago and are still in their original home of Victory park Cainscross.

Training takes place from 10 am on a Sunday and is for ages 3 upwards.

The club are looking to add to the U11s (Yr6) squad and encouraging more girls to take on the sport in the girls’ section for Yr7 -Yr9.

The club also has a mixed ability section that train on a Monday from 6-7.30pm and a senior side that train Tuesdays from 7-8 pm and matches most Saturdays.

If you have any questions regarding any section of the club or would like more information please contact club chairman Adam Carter on 07585006442 or head to their website http://cainscross.rfu.club
