Police are searching for a 79-year-old man from Stroud who has been reported missing.
Richard left for a walk at around 8am today (Sunday 25 January) from Butterrow Lane, which is what he often does, however he has not yet returned and this is out of character.
Richard likes to walk along the canal path and sometimes walks towards Rodborough Common.
He is described as being around 5ft 10/11ins, is of a slim build and has grey hair.
When last seen Richard was wearing a flat cap, slim leg trousers in either grey or dark brown, a blue or black jacket and boots. Richard also wears glasses.
Officers have been out searching for Richard as they are concerned for his welfare, and they are asking for anyone who has seen him today to contact police.
