Bargain Hunt star Izzie Balmer has revealed she was in her “happy place” after being inundated with jewellery, diamonds and Victorian treasures during her first valuation day at Wotton Auction Rooms.
The familiar face of Bargain Hunt, Antiques Road Trip and The Travelling Auctioneers has joined the Wotton team one day each month, working alongside the auction house ahead of its monthly auctions and an exciting new programme of quarterly fine sales.
Stroud Times joined the crowds who flocked to Wotton to meet the popular antiques expert as she offered her expert advice and valuations.
And Izzie revealed she was delighted to be teaming up with Wotton Auction Rooms’ managing director and auctioneer Joseph Trinder.
She told Stroud Times’ Faye Hatcher: “Joe gets some fantastic finds and I just really enjoy working with him.”
Izzie added: “I have actually seen a lot of jewellery, which is brilliant. I mean, my happy place. Lots of diamonds, some nice Victorian bits, Edwardian bits.”
