A band formed in the 1970s will make a spectacular return to Stroud next month at the Prince Albert.

Poet/puppeteer Ted Milton formed punk-jazz band Blurt in 1979 with his brother Jake and guitarist Pete Creese.

The band made their recording debut on Factory Records, but released albums on many different labels throughout their extensive career.

Over the years Ted has kept the band going with several line-up changes, but maintaining the idiosyncrasy and originality that has marked the Blurt sound from the very beginning. Blurt have a very strong live reputation.

BLURT play at the Prince Albert on Monday, November 28th.
