Long-serving Ben Powell has stepped down from his role as boss at County League outfit Chalford AFC.
Popular Powell served the Highfield Way outfit for nine seasons, clinching an historic first-ever promotion to the County League last season.
Powell said: “Stepping down is the hardest decision but walking away with the club in such a good position seems right.
“It has been an absolutely incredible experience and to do it with a group of my best mates makes it even better.

“Last minute winners, cup final thrillers, play-off heartache, unbeaten league seasons, it certainly had it all and made some amazing memories.
Powell brought a plethora of sliverware to the club, including three Gloucestershire Northern Senior League titles, three Reg Davis Cup wins, playing 293 games and winning 184, drawing 54 with just 45 defeats. Goals certainly flowed with a staggering 671 with only 278 conceeded.

Powell added: “All of the stats are only possible due to an amazing group of players… all of these lads deserve praise, they’ve created an amazing club and they’ve been loyal to me all the way through and I can’t thank them enough.
“A big thanks to everyone who’s supported me, I’ve been part of this club for 25 years and honestly the last nine years have been unreal.”
