Gloucester Garden Centre has revealed its official opening date and the celebrity gardener who’s opening the store in Harsefield.

The launch celebration takes place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 March 2025, where celebrity gardener David Domoney will be cutting the ribbon.

The star of ITV’s Love Your Garden will also be giving a free gardening talk, as well as answering visitors’ gardening questions, during an in-store Q&A.

Gloucester Garden Centre will stock an extensive range of outdoor plants; gardening essentials; garden furniture; barbecues; landscaping tools and machinery.

The store boasts an indoor soft play centre, as well as a restaurant and carvery offering breakfast, light bites, main meals, cakes and drinks.

The store has concessions from Mountain Warehouse, The Works, Cotton Traders and Julian Charles, as well as The Electric Bike Shop.

It also offers free parking and is both dog-friendly and wheelchair accessible.

The former Dobbies site closed last year, is now being run by British Garden Centres — the largest family-owned garden centre group in the UK.

Opening hours will be from 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10.30am to 4pm Sunday.
