Police were contacted today, Thursday, July 1, after a member of the public had found a dead Roe deer on a footpath in the Brimscombe area days earlier.

The exact location where the deer was found is Quarhouse Lane and it is believed that it may have been killed on the morning of Monday, June 28 as its wounds appeared to be fresh.
