The world’s largest jewellery brand, Pandora, will introduce its first-ever concession at Sandersons at the Five Valleys shopping centre.
Shoppers will have access to Pandora’s full jewellery range, from its iconic charm bracelets to earrings, rings, necklaces, and the latest collections and services offered in Pandora stores, all within a bespoke branded space in a prime location within the department store.
This exciting new concept is set to launch this month, just ahead of the busy Christmas season. The concession will be staffed by Pandora’s expert team, who are dedicated to offering customers a personalised shopping experience, while showcasing the diverse range of hand-finished jewellery that has made Pandora the world’s largest jewellery brand.
This marks Pandora’s first collaboration with an independent department store, expanding its retail footprint in a unique new way. Founded in 1982 by Danish goldsmith Per Enevoldsen and his wife Winnie, Pandora has grown from a small jewellery shop in Copenhagen to an internationally recognised brand, present in over 100 countries.
Sanderson Department store was founded 2016 at Fox Valley in Sheffield with its sister store opening in Stroud in 2021. The company is independent, and family owned and works with several leading UK heritage brands including Barbour and Holland Cooper.
Sandersons has also built up a reputation for its sought-after range of luxury fragrances and for delivering a unique in store experience. In 2019 the business was named Best New Retailer in the Drapers Independent Awards. Pandora is also launching in Sandersons’ sister store in Sheffield.
Louise Fearnehough, Managing Director at Sandersons Department Store, said: “This a great coup for Sandersons. We are so excited to be welcoming Pandora to our store at Five Valleys in Stroud with the company’s brand-new concession.
“The Pandora area is going to look fantastic, and we are confident that our customers in Stroud are going to absolutely love this latest addition to the store.”
Ross Monaghan, Sales Director at Pandora UK, said: “This marks a proud moment for Pandora as we open our first concession in collaboration with Sandersons. As a premium department store with values closely aligned to our own, this partnership feels like a natural fit. We’re excited to see what this collaboration will deliver, allowing us to meet new customers and offer them the full Pandora jewellery experience.
“Our concession will feature an adapted version of our new Evoke 2.0 concept store, with all the key services customers expect, including MyPandora, click and collect, and endless aisle—where customers can order items not stocked in-store and have them delivered to their home free of charge. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this new offering will have in Stroud and Sheffield.”
Five Valleys has undergone a major transformation in recent years and work has just started on the latest phase of improvements, delivering new retail and office space. A striking office building was completed earlier in the summer for the award-winning Gloucestershire conveyancing firm Montpellier Legal.
The investment in the town has delivered an influx of new businesses at Five Valleys with further announcements due in the coming weeks. Sports Direct and Peacocks have already joined the retail line up this year and the centre has seen a year-on-year increase in visitor numbers.
The company is currently recruiting for the Five Valleys concession.
