Globally renowned DJ, producer and big beat pioneer Fatboy Slim will perform at Westonbirt Arboretum on June 24.
Norman Cook, known worldwide as Fatboy Slim, remains one of the most influential figures in electronic music. A defining force of the 1990s big beat movement, his signature fusion of funk, house, hip-hop and rock has earned him international acclaim and a reputation for delivering some of the most electrifying live shows on the planet.
Celebrating 40 Years in Music
2025 marks Cook’s 40th year in the music industry. To celebrate, he has released a new illustrated book, It Ain’t Over Till the Fatboy Sings, a vibrant chronicle of his journey from pre-Housemartins days through Beats International, Freak Power and the rise of Fatboy Slim.
Reflecting on the milestone, Cook said: “This year I’ll have been in showbiz for 40 years, and to celebrate that we thought we’d create a big book full of stuff I’ve kept over the years of my long and chequered career… You’ll see what I’ve kept and what it all means, in one big, beautiful book.”
The celebrations follow another historic moment for the DJ, who performed his 100th Glastonbury set this summer.
