Five arrested following major incident

Police have arrested five men on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident on the A38 near Bristol Airport earlier today.

The incident, reported at approximately 8:25 am, involved multiple vehicles and resulted in two people sustaining injuries. Both victims are receiving hospital treatment and are not believed to be in life-threatening condition.

Emergency services responded promptly to the scene. The A38 and surrounding areas remain under police supervision while the investigation continues.

The five men remain in police custody as inquiries are ongoing.

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for anyone with information, or dash-cam footage of the area around the time of the incident, to come forward. Members of the public are urged to contact police via 101, or online through the Avon and Somerset Police website.
