Forest Green Rovers manager Robbie Savage is calling on supporters to pack the New Lawn terraces this Saturday following a decision to reopen the South Stand for the upcoming FA Trophy fixture against high-flying Weston-super-Mare.
With Weston expected to bring more than 500 travelling fans, the club had originally planned to allocate the North Stand to the visitors and close the South Stand to home supporters. However, after home fans challenged the stance and to enhance the matchday atmosphere, Forest Green has reversed the decision.
The South Stand will now remain open for Forest Green fans, while the visiting supporters from Weston-super-Mare will be moved to the East Stand.

Savage urged supporters to take advantage of the change: “Let’s fill it on Saturday now and bang that drum.”
Home supporters who have purchased East Stand tickets but wish to move to the EESI South Stand can request a change by emailing reception@fgr.co.uk.
Weston supporters will be seated in the East Stand – Blocks A & B (Seats 1–51) of the East Stand — the club’s main covered seating area alongside the pitch.
Any Weston fans who have already purchased North Stand tickets do not need to take any action — their tickets will automatically work for the East Stand.”
Weston fans wishing to buy tickets should select seats in the first two blocks closest to the ticket office. Tickets will also be available on the day from the Ticket Office.
Spaces for Weston-super-Mare supporters with disabilities have been reserved within the East Stand, among home supporters, and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Requests for accessible seating should be emailed to personal.assistant@fgr.co.uk.
The Park and Ride will not be in operation for this fixture.
