Stroud Brewery, Gloucestershire’s award-winning organic brewery, is proud to announce the launch of Budding Artists & Budding DJs, a new initiative created to support, showcase and celebrate emerging creative talent from across the county.
This community-driven programme reflects the brewery’s longstanding commitment to supporting grassroots culture, fostering creativity, and creating inclusive spaces where music and people can thrive.
The initiative is made possible with the support of LEAP Audio Ltd, a dedicated team based in Ledbury, Herefordshire, providing high-quality sound, lighting, and production services across Gloucestershire and the wider UK. LEAP Audio’s expertise ensures every performance is delivered with professional sound and stagecraft, giving artists the platform they deserve to shine.
Budding Artists & Budding DJs will feature two complementary editions:
Budding Artists – Live Edition: Intimate showcases for bands, singer-songwriters, experimental acts, and live performers, offering proper listening spaces and supportive audiences.
Budding DJs – Special Events: Curated nights for DJs, vinyl lovers, and electronic music explorers, powered by LEAP Audio’s immersive sound setups.
“At Stroud Brewery, we believe in celebrating creativity at every stage,” says Laurence Kapoor, Events Manager at Stroud Brewery. “Grassroots music is the lifeblood of our community, and this initiative gives talented local artists and DJs the support, stage, and audience they deserve. Partnering with LEAP Audio means we can ensure these performances sound incredible while staying true to our ethos of community and sustainability.”
LEAP Audio Ltd brings a wealth of experience to the programme, offering digital mixing desks, LED lighting, outdoor staging, and trained engineers to ensure every event runs smoothly. They specialise in high-quality sound and lighting for all types of events, from festivals and corporate events to parties, weddings, and community gatherings.
Stroud Brewery is now actively seeking Gloucestershire-based grassroots artists and DJs to take part. Interested performers are invited to contact Loz at laurence@stroudbrewery.co.uk with a short description of themselves and either a mix (for DJs) or a short video of their act.
“Supporting local talent isn’t just about sound and stagecraft – it’s about investing in people, creativity, and the culture that makes our county special,” Kapoor adds. “We can’t wait to see what the local music scene brings to our Budding Artists and Budding DJs stages.”
