Stroud Arts Festival celebrates an incredible 80 years with a bold and inspiring programme running from May to December—and it all begins with an unforgettable opening weekend, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May.
The May weekend is packed with excitement seeing the return of Autin Dance Theatre with Brimstone the Dragon on Saturday flying through the town in a thrilling outdoor spectacle, while all the family can dive into Monster-Slaying Misadventures with King Arthur in an action packed outdoor adventure from The Lost Boys
On Sunday, St Laurence Church becomes the setting for an extraordinary musical performance, where Renaissance music and visual art intertwine in a rich, immersive experience. The Marian Consort bring paintings to life through sound—revealing a world where angels sing and stories echo across time. Seeing Through Sound is a concert with a novel approach and so much to explore as well as enjoy.

Stroud Arts Festival is a charity with a desire to make the arts accessible to all, so our family shows are often free or low -priced and tickets for our concerts often have deals available for certain groups and individuals. For Seeing Through Sound we are particularly keen to reach community groups such as art history, music appreciation, or other practising art groups and students for them to experience this concert together. There’s a deal to be had on tickets if you want to bring members of your group along!

To take advantage of the group offer please email Katy at stroudartsfestival@gmail.com.
