Highlighting the vital role played by hospices across the country

Hospice UK’s Hospice Care Week runs until Friday, October 8^th and is a way to celebrate hospice care across the country.

Simon Bernstein, Chief Executive of Longfield Hospice, based in Burleigh Lane, Minchinhampton, explained how their work supports people with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families.

Longfield supports more than 1,200 patients, family members and carers in Gloucestershire each year at a cost of around £4million, most of which comes through shop sales and donations.
