More than 200 sellers took part in the fifth Yard Trail Stroud over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Taking place in front and back gardens across the district, Yard Trail Stroud brings the community together to buy, sell or give away anything and everything from clothes, furniture, and bric-a-brac to artwork and plants.

Started in 2017 by Vix Ashcroft, the increasingly popular event aims to connect people to their neighbours, keep landfill to a minimum and enable anyone who wants to, to follow the map on the day to pick up a bargain.

From selling on the street to a tented spectacular at The Crown & Sceptre, Vix Ashcroft and her team toasted another remarkable day of selling at the Peter Joy Estate Agents sponsored event.

Vix said: “We had more than 200 sellers this year. We must say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported and continues to support Yard Trail Stroud.

“I want to say a special shout out to Julie Howe, who each year designs the maps and plots you all out, so carefully. Stroud was buzzing on Monday and to see so many people wandering around with their arms full and big smiles is a great feeling.”
