Red Kite Solicitors hosted their latest WorkStory event at Ingleside House, Cirencester, with Sir Robert Buckland MP.
The MP for Swindon addressed the business breakfast audience, where spoke on autism in employment and how to close the employment gap.
Before Sir Robert’s talk, Rachael Fletcher from Stroud-based Allsorts Charity told the audience about the work of the charity that provides support and a safe space for young people.
Alice Chubb from Red Kite Solicitors said: “Sir Robert has an autistic daughter which is why he feels so passionate about closing the employment gap for individuals with a disability. They are not a burden or require extra work, they just require an employer who can think outside the box and provide support in a different way.

“It was lovely to have such an engaging conversation with the attendees and hear different viewpoints. We received very positive feedback from the event.
“WorkStory is about ditching the sales pitches and bringing personal stories and motivations to the forefront of networking.”
Red Kite donated £2.50 of the proceeds of every ticket sold to Allsorts, a local charity which does so much for families who are caring for an individual with a disability as well as the person who has the disability.
