A traditional Christmas Nativity in Brimscombe found warmth at the Inn.

Ship Inn landlord Wes Birch afforded children from Brimscombe School room at the Inn to perform their annual Christmas Nativity.

lLed by Rev. Peter Francis, the children walked from Brimscombe primary to the Nelson Trust and along Victoria Road and back along the canal to The Ship.

The final cribb scene took place in the pub garden and then Elvis impersonator Greg Adamson entertained the regulars.

Organiser Kate Woodward said: “The atmosphere was fantastic and Wes (Birch) and his team gave out mince pies to all those who took part. It was just a lovely community event.”
