The 43 year-old Irishman joined Rovers from Wigan Athletic five years ago under Mark Cooper. He had previously been head of academy goalkeeping with the Latics as well as the Ireland Under-21 goalkeeping coach.

In his lengthy association with Rovers, he’s assisted interim managers Jimmy Ball and Hannah Dingley, stepping up to caretaker manager following the sacking of Troy Deeney. Last season, he worked alongside Steve Cotterill.
