Live theatre returns to Lansdown Hall next week.

Destiny is an exciting work by writer/performer Florence Espeut-Nickless. A powerful, semi-autobiographical monologue, it follows the story of a teenage girl growing up on a rural Wiltshire council estate and features a 90’s and 00’s Grime, Hip Hop and R& B soundtrack.

Dealing with issues and emotions experienced by many young people, the show earned a 4* review from the Guardian at its London performance and is coming to Stroud from the Tobacco Factory, Bristol.

After the show the audience will be invited to chat to Flo about her writing/ performing career and the issues raised in her work in a Q&A session, chaired by our theatre adviser Stroud Theatre Company’s Chris Gardner
