Man collapses after incident in Stroud

A police scene guard was put in place in King Street, Stroud overnight on Friday after an incident in the early hours of the morning.

An unconscious man had been found and he was taken to hospital. Officers are investigating what took place and three people have been arrested on suspicion of assault.

The victim, aged in his 30s, sustained a broken nose.

Two men, aged 48 and from Cheltenham, and a 47-year-old woman from Cheltenham, who were arrested in connection with the incident were later released on police bail.
