Man spooked by audio warning flees from property driveway

Police received a report of a man acting suspiciously at a property in Brimscombe, Stroud at around 8.50pm last night, Wednesday.

A man, who was dressed in black clothes and with a black hood, was seen on CCTV to walk up the driveway of a property in Thrupp Lane, Brimscombe.

After triggering the property’s motion sensor security lights and CCTV security system, which played an audio warning, the man then left the scene.

Police have conducted checks in the local area following the incident.
