Mark Dyer-Blanco was a cut above the rest in his efforts for the Little Princess Trust.
Mark from Stroud had 18 inches chopped off his lengthy locks to help provide wigs for children who lose hair following cancer treatment.
Mark had his hair cut by mobile barber Alistair Noble, who provides cut-price haircuts at various social enterprise hubs, providing a vital service to people by only charging them what they could afford.
Alistair said: “Mark and his family are so lovely. He got in touch with me and asked me to do the honours. It was a real privilege to be part of it.”
Mark said: “The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.
“The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
“The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.”
