A week later, the trip to Abbeymead Rovers 2nds was eagerly anticipated. Again, the game was a close encounter. Captain Josh Cowley’s double in a 2 – 0 win was the difference in the end – a delightful chip after a sweeping through ball and a trademark free-kick from 30 yards, making it six wins on the spin.
