New headteacher announced for Stroud school

Archway Senior School in Stroud has appointed a new headteacher from September.

After an extensive search for a successor to Mr Kieron Smith, who will be departing this summer, Archway has appointed Mr James Woollin.

Mr Woollin joins Archway from Hardenhuish School in Chippenham, where he currently serves as senior deputy headteacher.

Speaking on his appointment, Mr Woollin expressed his enthusiasm for the new role: “I am absolutely delighted to be appointed as the new Headteacher of Archway School. I’m really looking forward to working with students, staff, parents, and the wider community to meet the challenges ahead and
unlock the huge potential that exists within the school.”
