Next Blackburn Rovers manager: Robbie Savage second favourite as Chris Sutton weighs in

Forest Green boss Robbie Savage is second favourite at 4/1 to become Blackburn Rovers’ next permanent manager.

Former Fulham boss Chris Coleman is currently in pole position to replace Valerien Ismael at Ewood Park.

However, Savage’s BBC Radio 5 Live 606 co-host and former Blackburn striker Chris Sutton has cast doubt on whether the club’s owners would match Savage’s ambition. Writing on social media, Sutton said: “Genuinely be good to see Rob get a chance at a club he loves. However I suspect the owners’ ambition won’t match Rob’s – or anyone’s- for that matter.”
