Nominations are now open for the 2025 Gloucestershire Volunteer Awards.

These prestigious awards shine a spotlight on the remarkable individuals who dedicate their time, energy, and passion to make our communities stronger, more vibrant, and more compassionate places to live.

Emma Snell, Go Volunteer Glos Manager said: “We are delighted to honour the unsung heroes of Gloucestershire who are making a real impact in our communities. From coaching our children’s football teams, running foodbanks, protecting the environment, being a trustee to the good neighbour who is always willing to help. Each and every volunteer matters – we want to hear about those remarkable individuals that make the world a better place.”

Organised by Go Volunteer Glos in partnership with Gloucestershire VCS Alliance and Charlie’s Community Support, the Gloucestershire Volunteer Awards aim to honour those who often work behind the scenes, making a profound impact without expecting recognition. From mentoring young people, supporting the elderly, and preserving our environment to organising local events and assisting charitable causes, volunteers are the lifeblood of our community.
