This weekend has seen a veritable feast of art on display during an open studio event in Nailsworth.
Artist Kat Bryan-Merrett, of Kat and Owen Murals, has thrown open the doors at Stokes Croft in Nailsworth where she has her studio, to show her work and that of nine other artists.
“It’s a celebration of my two years at Stokes Croft – and also the anniversary of my dad’s passing,” said Kat.
“It’s also a celebration of the work I’ve done over the past couple of years – all thanks to the support of members of the public.”
The exhibition is open today (Sunday, December 10th) from 10am-4pm and features the work of sculptor Paul Grellier, textile and ceramic artist Milligan Beaumont, ceramic artist, ink maker and illustrator Flora Scott Wallace, ceramic artist Jules DeGroot, contemporary artist Gemma Compton, jeweller Jo Stafford-Michael, sign write Eleanor Harper, magician Nicholas Phillips and artist Ed Lawrenson.
