Precious dog statues stolen

MOST READ

The owner of two precious dog statues stolen from a doorstep in Painswick is urging the help of Stroud Times’ readers.

The stone dogs hold a special place in the heart of dog-lover Jess Bancroft-Livingston, who spent a decade trying to find a match to her own dogs.

“They match my dogs and I adored them,” said Jess, who is a 5* licensed home dog boarder.

The stone dogs certainly caused a stir in the village with Jess even naming them, she added: “I named these guys Whoops and Daisy and they greeted everyone on our doorstep and made for many photos that brightened my day.”
