The Falcon Painswick is celebrating a major milestone after receiving an AA Rosette Award for culinary excellence, following its first inspection.

This accolade marks a significant achievement for the young team led by Head Chef Jake Haddon and General Manager Daniel Orme – placing it in the top 10% of UK pubs and restaurants. 

The AA Rosette, first introduced in 1956, is a highly respected award recognising outstanding cooking across the UK. The AA inspector described the inn as “packed full of character,” with “hospitality from the small team [that] really made this stay.” The autumn-inspired menu, which features local ingredients, was noted for making “good use of the season’s quality produce.”
