Road closed following serious collision

Drivers have been asked to avoid the A46 near Tetbury after a serious crash in the early hours of this morning, Monday.

The road has been closed in both directions at the crossroads with the A4135, Gloucestershire Police has said, after two vehicles collided on the road at the Grumbolds Ash crossroads, near Calcot.

Emergency services are at the scene and paramedics are assessing the occupants of both vehicles.

Closures have been put into place with Gloucestershire Police asking motorists to plan their route in advance and avoid the area.
