School of rock: Hopelands hit the right notes

Hopelands Prep turned into a rock school as the children took part in the NSPCC Times Tables Rock Stars competition.

Their imagination was fantastic as they arrived at school in true style as they accessorized their uniform to become rock stars for the day. As well as raising money for the NSPCC they competed against schools from across the country – a total of 17,344 classes.

We had outstanding results across Hopelands, and a special mention must go to our Year 6 who finished 82nd which is in the top 0.5%!  A fun filled day and a great way to improve the children’s times table recall.
